Large amounts of unlicensed medications have been seized by Department of Health authorities during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A man was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed via the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, stated: “It is essential that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medications can be unsafe.
“These kinds of items being sold, typically online, have undergone no quality control and there can be no warranty about their security.
“You simply do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More significantly, you do not understand the impact drugs like this may have on your health.”
